Mate - you're acting like Forest is a midtable team fighting for to chance to play in Europe next year.
*worst* team in the league.
We played that game as if 'showing up' is all that is needed to win.
That is embarrassing.
Again, that team talent wise should be good enough to beat Forest - let's not kid ourselves, we shouldn't need THiago and a player half the site were calling Andy Carroll 2 weeks ago to beat them.
Had we played with the same 'desire' as we did against West Ham, we win on Saturday.
But we were flat, and that is the most worrying thing for me.
This team has great leaders - but is the team just injured / tired / concerned about WC / ______ etc to listen to them and push on?
Fuck knows. I'd rather have played shit in 11 of 12 games and be in Spurs' place than ours ... but the good thing is the season isn't over and hopefully, we still have one good run left in us.
And on another day we've have won that easily from the chances we had (and their ridiculously lucky goal - off his standing leg and against the post FFS) even when playing like turds.

No we didn't. I'm tired of hearing about problems with "Desire, heart, application" etc. etc. The team knew what we knew. Anyone thinking we'd roll over any team with the available players was an idiot. They probably worried they'd lose, just as anyone else looking at the team did.

The team is shot. The team we put out on paper looked like shit. The subs, even fucking worse. Salah central? He doesn't have it in his locker, and he's on the decline. Firmino playing 3 games on the trot, can't do it. Ruining an indian summer. Carvahlo, not ready. Elliot, meh. Jones? Not good enough. Then you've got good players way out of form like Fabinho, and after fucking years and years, Milner, the ever present.

And what else were we going to put out? The entire attack is ravaged by injury, the midfield is a fucking embarrassment. The ones we bought for their potential are being made to play way too much, and together.

There's no point getting all in a tizzy about it. The die is cast.

Never takes responsibility does Conte. Throws his players under the bus or it's because he needs more money to spend blah blah blah. He's a bellend.

Remember, he has done a hairjob.
He isn´t confident enough to take blame himself.

Well, I feel better about the season now.

I’d love Wilson in our team.

What a surprise he’s banging in goals and assists now he’s back fit.

And some armchair fans still don’t rate him.

He’ll surely make the England squad at this rate.

Yep I always thought he was worth a bench slot - deserved it more than Jones (maybe that's not saying much) !

Wilson is a very good player. Just very injury prone.
