West Ham really pressing their opposition. Should have been doing this all match

Italian signing looks quality

… or maybe not! Breakaway goal 0-2

Well that's good to know, KDB has quite a few lay offs per season, so his supply line might be dissrupted

It’s almost as if they have cheated for a decade, sold load of “stars” and taken advantage of an absurd release fee.

Well Haaland is as good as we all feared. If the opposition sit back City pass them to death. If they push up Haaland has the space and speed to destroy them. Super.

At least Man United were given the runaround by Danny fucking Welbeck.

Honestly, all he did was get a pen and score it but hardly did fuck all else. They don't even know how to use him properly yet.
Get a penalty, score that and then score another but hardly did fuck all else. If one of our players did that we be saying MOTM.

Yes we would, but I think what pissed us off was the commentary... it was way over the top after he scored that penalty. I have in all my years never heard the media go that crazy with praise before and after a player has scored.

They always act like that if it’s a big star at a favored big club. Even more so when player is English.

In all my years of watching - I have never seen a player so promoted to the level this guy has been, it was like "He's gonna be the best, he's gonna fuck every ones mum and sister and blah blah blah", and that was even before he scores a goal. No English player playing for England has ever had such praise put on them before they got their first cap. In fact the closest sick comment I remember is when the late commentator (who I really liked) - Brian Moore once said of Alan Shearer (when he overstayed in place in the England team IMO) - "Every Englishman's heart must be full of relief seeing him up front..." (or something like that).

[article]Statistics tell us that last season the ball was in play for 55 minutes of an average Premier League game. This embarrassing fact has been noted by the league and they say they want change. The referees are also aware and they talked it through when they met for their pre-season chat.

The solution so far? To speed up throw-ins by having spare balls available when one goes out of play.

So no mention of booking players for time-wasting. No mention of punishing those who feign injury. No mention of the kind of nonsense witnessed at Everton on Saturday.

No mention of the ruinous and utterly disingenuous introduction of the five-substitute rule this season.

Ball in play for 47% of Everton game!

The ball was in play for just 51 minutes of Everton’s clash with Chelsea. As there were 10 minutes of stoppage time in both halves, that’s just 47 per cent! Only two games had the ball in play for over an hour.

MATCHBALL IN PLAY TIME

Everton 0 Chelsea 1 - 51mins 47secs

Man Utd 1 Brighton 2 - 52:47

Leeds 2 Wolves 1 - 52:52

Newcastle 2 Nott’m Forest 0 - 52:58

Bournemouth 2 A Villa 0 - 53:15

Fulham 2 Liverpool 2 - 54:23

Tottenham 4 So’ton 1 - 58:14

Crystal Palace 0 Arsenal 2 - 59:33

Leicester 2 Brentford 2 - 62:17

West Ham 0 Man City 2 - 63:07[/article]
