The 2 of the 3 R's also left Brazil early in their careers.
They were generational though, but I worry about the others that don't develop fully in Brazil after getting a season in their own league - and they come over here and end up as subs for the main team or just play in the 2nd team / youth teams and you never hear about them again. I think that is the issue that is causing a talent drain in Brazil, but also some are just not good enough in the top European leagues but come across as great in lesser leagues like in Holland. Take Manchester United's purchase of Anthony - he is absolutely shit right now, and I blame him for Brazil getting knocked out of last years WC. When you look at some of the players in the Brazil side, the bar ain't that high these days. Andre for instance is in the national side now and since he has been playing they are shit - and shipping loads of goals.

I don't disagree with you over the state of Brasilian football. They've lost their way somehow and don't seem to have the same hunger or drive they had before.
It was interesting seeing Argentina in the world cup really giving it their all, like it was a battle royal tournament.

Arteta after the Diaz goal against Spurs:

“They are trying to make the best decisions. We need to understand that mistakes happen.” Mikel Arteta says the match officials deserve support in situations that errors occur.

You had your chance to speak up you playmohead twat. But when it against you its a different story, eh?!

I felt sorry for Arteta for a sec because was against gimpy Gordon and time wasting barcodes but I take it back after seeing that.

I'll be quite honest on this, I fucking hate DM's, yes we need one , but as pure talent to pay for and watch, they should be priced with a set upper ceiling ... something like no more than 5M. To me they represent the fotballer that cant dribble, shoot, progress, they only learnt to tackle and pass sideways or forwards with little range. Fucking hate them

You hate DMs? Tell me you havent played football without telling me you havent played football,

Andre is excellent and already so fucking good. Saw someone describe him as a hybrid between Thiago and Mascherano. We need to get this transfer over the line cause this lad will be immense when he moves to Europe.

Looks excellent on the highlights. @The Nomad, are you sure you were watching the right game? 🙂 Or maybe they cut out all the bad stuff?
Maybe I just expected more.. he did all the simple stuff OK. Especially in the first half.

His shot towards the end was a bad judgement, he had players left and right.

And the dive to get Cavani booked is a pet hate of mine..

Sign him - that’s our midfield done, with no need to sign anyone there for 5 years (pray for Bluebell - It’ll be hard for him).

Part of me wishes Chelsea to batter Spurs tonight just so I can shove it down Dreamers throat for a whole week….but I can never back an utterly despicable club such as the plastics, so a draw would be welcomed.

Isn’t this where a draw with injuries and future suspensions that lead to horrific runs of losses resulting in managerial changes and rebooting of the doom loop, is more appropriate than either of these cunts getting 3 points?

Normally, of course, but given that a win would only be enough for Chelsea to scrape into the top half, while a win for Spurs would put them top, 5 points ahead of us and even smugger than they are already, I'd prefer a Chelsea win this time.

You do, really?

Spurs are a proper club that are actually trying to build the right way and not by completely destroying the market.

I do, yes. It probably isn't rational, but I've always really hated them. I've always found their fans very annoying.

I don't like Chelsea either. I don't like many clubs at all. But for whatever reason I have never hated them in the same way.

I mean it's fair enough but to find hate in your heart because you find a fanbase annoying seems a tad OTT but whatever.

Personally find it a lot easier to hate Chelsea because of the despecible things their fans do (& record doing), their ownership for the last 20 years destroying the game we love etc. Mourinho's Chelsea is on par with Fergie's Utd as clubs I'll always despise. Can't really pick out a period during Spurs' history where I've felt any urge to hate them.

Each to their own.

Some 17 year old at Frosinone called Ibrahimovic (no relation to Zlatan - on loan from Bayern) has just scored a banger.

I despise only the bitters, the Mancs and now their noisy neighbours. I've never seen any other club as worth the effort TBH.
