We're 10 points ahead of them twats who are 9 ahead of hull city. It's brilliant.

Mancs were very disappointed with their offside goal.
I was disappointed there was no penalty given against Rojo - blatant handball with his arm well clear of his body denying a cross into a dangerous area full of West Ham players.

It was a clear offside of course.

Yeah, that was a pen alright.

I guess Mourinho won't be giving a press conference again. Surely needs a stadium ban this time.

People on reddit arguing that he "dived" because he didn't want to get kicked.
Bullshit.
He already avoided the kick before he decided to fucking fall down. No one brought him down.

I mean overall not just in one game and I know we have they have won what now, 7 in a row with a settled side, a strong defence and no euro footy.

I can see them running away with it

And I mean we have already beaten them. Away. Because we are a better team than them.

Have to say, I'm not that fixated on Man u anymore. Don't think they're a threat to us atm.
I'm looking at Chelsea and Man C.

Worst start to a season since 1990/91 appaz. Mourinho is breaking all sorts of records.

Worst start to a season since 1990/91 appaz. Mourinho is breaking all sorts of records.

If Mourinho manages to keep up this level of performance at Utd, I might have to develop grudging respect for the horrible cunt.

I belatedly saw this about Pardew in the Times:

"When Alan Pardew sent on Lee Chung Yong for Christian Benteke last week, he asked his Crystal Palace midfielder to convey new instructions for set-pieces to the rest of the players. Apparently, with a limited grasp of English, whatever the South Korean understood to be the message went awry, leaving his team-mates confused about their new responsibilities.

Two minutes later Yaya Touré, who had been marked at previous set-pieces by Benteke, tapped in the winning goal for Manchester City from a corner. The goal not only consigned Palace to having the worst record at conceding from set pieces — nine, this season — but it was also their fifth Premier League defeat on the trot".

The man really does seem to lose the plot (and the players) on a regular basis throughout his career. Couldn't happen to a more deserving egomaniac.

All the chat now is how the owners are looking to see if Pardew can make "radical changes" on the training ground, and maybe bring in a new defensive coach (although that might actually just be Sam Allardyce).

Like any of this should come as ANY kind of surprise, given Pardew has been through so many cycles of "boom and bust" at every club he's been at, that the headlines themselves could easily be recycled, with Palace switched out for Newcastle, West Ham and Charlton Athletic in a career of "turning around" that has spanned over well over a decade.

"I would say, though, that I have full confidence in my coaching staff. It's been a difficult time but we will turn this around"

Alan Pardew discussing pressure and poor form at West Ham.

"I have no problem with the takeover talk. We have no excuses it had no effect on us.
It's my job to turn that around. We need a win quickly and I need to make sure the side play with belief on Saturday."

Alan Pardew discussing takeover issues and run of defeats at Charlton.

"At a club like Newcastle, you are going to have down times, it is going to be a rocky road. Every manager has experienced that. So I’ve got to try and lean towards the positives for myself, but not hide away from the fact that I’ve got to be better, and that’s what I want to try and do.

I turned it around at West Ham and as a manager it happens more times than you think. I’ve had periods here as well where it’s been very, very difficult. Last year, we went to QPR and we really, really needed to win that game."

Alan Pardew discusses how he can turn it around at Newcastle - where he was required to do that about three times during his tenure - and also lets slip that he is acutely aware of the amount of times that teams Alan Pardew manages seem to require "turning around" by Alan Pardew, who was responsible for the situation in the first place, or at best, incapable of preventing it happening.

Almost as if Alan Pardew has no positive quantifiable effect on any football team he has ever managed. In fact, the opposite.

Toronto v Montreal second leg now in extra time. 5-5 on aggregate. Giovinco just went off with injury. Drogba on for Impact.

Exciting game, great crowd.
