When they can get offside tech working instantly & that accurately, I'll be all for it.

Until then, fuck off var.
I think that players should have a micro chip in their jerseys and that is used for determining offside.
No more armpit being ahead of big toe off side decisions.
A throw back to the old days when the attacker was deemed on side once level with a defender

If they didn't have the thing to wear then it wouldn't be a problem.

It's quite literally ruining every fucking match for every match going fan.

It needs to fuck off, & the sooner the better.
You know it won't. It's here to stay - until the expanding Sun burns Earth to a crisp. And I know it hurts those at the match but most of the millions of viewers on TV just want the right decision.

Besides which we can always just go and get another cuppa (or beer if you prefer) while they work it out (though VAR in and of itself is often a good watch - which is what the match-goer misses out on as it is).

VAR isn't that bad. It's the stupid rules it's enforcing.

The fact that there is a minute hold up now and again isn't the end of the world.

More time is wasted by players pretending to be injured.
To say nothing of if there was no VAR then the players would be surrounding the ref. and it would go on for bloody ages - for every damn offside, foul, play-acting etc., now most of the time they know they have no argument. People seem to have already forgotten what it was like before.

Jose post match saying there were so many positives from the game, the attitude etc...Guess he didn't see Alli's reaction to coming off?

Then be babbled on about how they didn't play 1 defensive midfielder, lost players in key areas......it finished 0-0 you muppet. and you had Eric Dier on the bench.

West Ham 15/8 to beat Everton

Easy money? No Richarlison

City to win 1/16 WTF?
Palace to win 28/1

It fucking ruins goal celebrations. You used to get those infamous 'limbs everywhere' moments when you scored.

Now it's kinda muted, as everyone starts to celebrate, then realises that it might not count, & stops, & waits, then just give a cheer once it's given.

I can honestly say it's hugely spoiled watching the match at Anfield for me, & watching it at home isn't as enjoyable either.

City will win every league game from now until the end of the season.

Yeah, now that they're getting into their stride again it's hard to see where they're going to drop points.

Last night I was working out how many games we could lose and still win the title.

How many is it?

I'd do it myself, but I've got one hell of a hangover.

Ta. If we can keep this lead, or close to it, I can see klopp rotating in the league to prioritise the CL from March onwards (maybe sooner in the unlikely event city drop more)

I know we'd all like to amass the greatest ever total & go unbeaten, but I think he'll be much more pragmatic & want the shiny things instead of going for records.

Well, Palace have held out for twenty minutes plus without conceding.

Earlier in the season that was a sure sign that City could drop points in a game.

No so sure today, they've been playing very well & Palace look as ambitious as you'd expect a Hodgson side to look away from home against a better side.

Don't bother getting your hopes up.

Bournemouth in serious trouble. They'll go down.

Down to ten men against Norwich after a deliberate handball and a penalty coming.
