Really good manager - but he really hasn't done anything to justify the praise he's received the last few years.

Higuain surprised me. He struggled to impact decisive games in Europe before, but here he was the difference in both games and the tie as a whole.

Meanwhile Harry Kane is perhaps not quite the new Messi yet.

For a guy who looks so 'heavy,' he moves quickly and was absolutely key in this tie (that penalty miss would have been yet another 'black mark' on him had he not done what he did today).

Kane almost took the game to added time - was offside, but as he is the English Messi, he gets breaks like that!

I know that Klopp had a go at liverpool fans for leaving early while trailing to Crystal Palace but I couldn't believe Spurs fans leaving before the final whistle with only one goal required to push the game to extra time in a Champions League tie, against one of football's elite clubs, with qualification to the quarter finals as the prize.
