I have read the entire thread though I don't think anyone tried in great detail to educate the lad on his ignorance.

He himself said a couple of posts later he didn't mean "hate" just that he didn't like it because he didnt understand why anyone would not want a girl. He's obviously very ignorant on the subject thats all.
I honestly think he would change his opinion in terms of understanding why people are gay as opposed to thinking they decide to be gay. He may never tolerate it or thinks its ok but at least he can learn why it is the way it is.
And maybe its just Ireland but I would know a lot of people with similar views to him at his age.
