Its an FA plot ... ban him after the close of the window; if we'd have known we'd definitely have brought someone in ....And a 10 match ban for Firmino starting next week.
That's 100% what we would claim.yeah.Its an FA plot ... ban him after the close of the window; if we'd have known we'd definitely have brought someone in ....
I feel that way about Klopp.I just think Klopp is sick of looking at him to be honest.
I liked Sturridge, really nice lad, met him last summer and he looked fit, sad to see him go, shame he was never fit.
I'd think scoring 10 goals for West Brom and saving them from relegation is a better chance for him to get to the World Cup.
This place is going to be great fun the day we draw nil nil and look genuinely uninspiring, whilst Sturridge scores a brace against some bottom of the table wank.
I'm still bemused at the fact that he couldn't get on our bench, yet WBA are going to pay his wages for the rest of the season and give us £2M into the bargain.
He's usually fit during the summer. He was fit last summer
We know Rafa though, there's no way he'll have guaranteed any player to play every game, it's just not in his nature.I'm still surprised that he chose West Brom over Newcastle.
Fabio (I think) called it, referring to some kind of family reasons, and he is from the area, but it still seems odd.
Fucking Pardew over Benitez?
West Brom are rock-bottom of the league (although I do have a feeling they won't get relegated - hope I'm wrong!)
The Geordies love a big-name striker and the crowds are twice the size.
I suppose you could factor in the ownership uncertainty and the fact Newcastle is a mad house, but still.
And god lives in Birmingham, as any fule kno.I totally get it. Every interview, all he goes on about is his mum and God. He's probably chuffed to bits to finally get close to home for a while.

Wonder if he will get in West Broms team ahead of Rondon and Rodriguez though. Newcastle at least have no one up front.

Better than here, where he was left back in the dressing roomBenitez probably would have played him at left back.
Yeah, he does seem quite the home-body. Fair enough, I suppose.
But it's not as if it's bloody miles away, or impossible to get to from Newcastle or Liverpool. And he'll have plenty of time to be with his Mum and pray together when he's retired, probably when he's about 32.
Oh well. I would wish him well, but I can't because Pardew's a cunt and I hope they get relegated.
