So Jean, being of Irish extraction, has decided that as part of our Griswaldian European Vacation this year we will spend about a week in the northern part of Ireland. We will drive from the airport in Dublin, on the east coast, all the way around the northern bit ending up at Donegal which is in the north west.
We have no idea where to say or what to see. We've heard of the Giant's Causeway (or is it the Giants' Causeway?) and Jean wants to visit a Titanic museum. Otherwise our main intention is to steer clear of major urban settlements if we can and see some of the famous coastline.
We'll need to stay in some towns at some point though and it would nice if they have good coffee and jazz clubs.
I know some of you guys are from northern ireland, any advice on an itinerary?
