All the united fans I work with seem to be raving about him improving players. Lukaku, Martial and Shaw specifically. Not seeing it myself and they've spent a fair bit and are a mile off city, not so impressive.

Hope it explodes soon and he fades away on some foreign shores.

Well 2 of those players ahould not have needed improving given the sums paid ... did he say he will improve Pogba ?
 
His meltdown is due next season based on previous, so it'll be all good.

Players not performing, stories about unrest in the dressing room, him saying his players continually after bad results.

The same shit that he normally pulls when he knows he's got another massive contract lined up.

If the manager is wanted the buying club often pay the contract off, so Utd most likely wouldn't lose anything unless they sacked him.

Yeah, he's pretty much forced them into a corner with the deal by flirting with PSG so openly. I suspect he'll still go to them in the next couple of years, especially if it doesn't look like he's going to be able to challenge Man City, but this way he gets more cash in the meantime and, more importantly for him, pay parity with other managers.
 
So this efficiently mean that the onesided flirt with PSG didn't tempt the French guys to scrap Neymar and MBappe development and move towards parking the bus instead.
 
The guy is SO insecure behind that carapace of confidence. When people questioned whether he'd develop players from the youth ranks, he didn't just say yes, he turned up with a specific number of youth players he'd supposedly 'helped' since he began management. It was something like 43, and most of them no one else seemed to know, but he regarded that as the end of the matter. And now the likes of Castles are desperately straining to claim he's been brilliant with the kids at OT, ludicrously citing Rashford and Lingard as young players Mourinho 'brought into the side'. Talk about rewriting history.
 
He's still living in that hotel. He must be in full Partridge mode now, complete with the extra-large plate secreted in his briefcase.

What do you think Castles gets out of following him round rimming him? Do you reckon Maureen pays him?
