I love a bit of snidey banter with the muck savages, but Oswald appears on the verge of sending the Black and Tans back over sometimes

They can't speak to Gerrard because he's having treatment for something.

Reason #1 why I couldn't give a shite about internationals.

Im sure his location is very tongue in cheek.

Especially fucking pointless ones 3 days before the start of a new season and before a massive game against Arsenal

Yeh he's probably from Luton.

Anyone have the video? I don't give a shit either, and I certainly think it's atrocious timing for a friendly...

but I mean, I like to see pretty goals.

Gerrard being treated for an injury oh shit

Amazing goals.

Lol sorry on my phone.

Two class goals. Well done, Stevie. That is one international match I don't resent (assuming he's not actually injured), because he needed game-time, and those goals will be a massive confidence boost ahead of the Arsenal match.

Norway ended up beating France reserves 2-1. Ben Arfa and Menez came on at HT and did lots of skilful dribbling but messed up the team's shape in the process. Ben Arfa looked sharp (and scored) though, to be fair: I can see him being a Toon Hero this season, at least until his toxic personality poisons team spirit.

Anyone know the name of the young Norwegian striker who scored both their goals? He was pretty promising...

Agger missing a sitter

The commentary for the goals is so silly. "At England's Time of Need"... well, actually no.

That was brilliant from Gerrard, who was England's stand out player throughout. Looks like the confidence and drive is back.

Does anyone know what he was receiving treatment for?

When they interviewed Hart at the end of the match, they said they wanted to interview Stevie but he was receiving treatment. >🙁

a fired up gerrard is seriously good news. I think front to back there are liverpool players who will feel they will have something to prove.

Agger missed a sitter and should've scored on two other occasions as well last night. Was not playing to his normal standards and it seemed the Cpt-armbancy probably left him a bit shaky/unfocused.

Anyways he must've been saving the goals and the stellar performance for Sunday I reckon.

He looked fit throughout.

PS Having just watched Gerrards goals I can't help to believe we'll win the Premiership. That player is just unreal and I litterally got goosebumps all over to see him back to his own ways like this.

PS Vol 2 Imagine how motherfekkin awful it would've been watching his goals for England last night had he actually went to Real or something woeful like that. I'd puke.

Good to see Agger get a run out, we need everyone fit. Gerrard looked as good as he's been for at least a year or so. Good news for us!

Standout, performance from Steven Gerrard. World class goals hardly a mention on the tv this morning. Skirted over as if it was nothing. Disgusting had it been Fat crank They'd still be airing them.
