So envious of people with tiny feet. I’m not tall or anything but I’m size 11 and particularly in Japan, I get fuck all choice with what I can wear. Max size tends to be 28cm, whatever that is in UK/US sizes.
I'm a size 8.
Fine most of the time, in fact better than fine cos there's usually loads in the sales, but can't wear trainers with 'caps' on the toes like Stan Smith for example, cos they make my feet look fucking tiny.
Something similar ruined me. When I was 5, I wanted action man - but we couldn’t afford it and so I got Johnny fucking Strong. A shitter action man substitute you cannot find. I was gutted. And here I am, writing about it to a forum on the internet 43 years later. Now I find myself compelled to buy shit just because I can. This a sad tale but one I'm in therapy about (don't get me started on ZX81/ Spectrum debacle!) - My Mum always bought me Hi-Tec's - yeah I really was that sad cunt! Come on! You 80's kids get that right? Anyway I always liked Nike (because I grew up in the 80's) They were just cooler. My buddy had a pair of 'Pony' but that wasn't that cool. Flash maybe, But the studs wore out in two seconds. Also who the fuck wears American Football shoes in Buckinghamshire? LaCoste tracksuits? Fuck me the 80's were ace but £43 a pop for counselling for an hour 40 years later??? I'm cool with it. *Heads off to buy the most awesome pair of Nike Air Max going) - I'll not wear them though. Out of spite. I can afford them. I should post them to my mum burnt and fucked and say you ruined me! She'll just reply and say - 'You're an idiot - I'm off to watch Jeremy Kyle" - Ahhhh Families are ace! 😛
Never spent more than that myself on trainers. I also have an upper limit on my normal shoes for work. Starting about 15 years ago i spent around £55 on them work shoes...i have bought the same pair nearly every year since because i dont like going into a shop and spending more than 10 minutes looking for office footwear. Now I am paying £80 for the same pair.I find trainer prices extortionate these days. Parents paying between £100-£200. If I pay for footwear its not going over £50.
don't they ever go on sale?Never spent more than that myself on trainers. I also have an upper limit on my normal shoes for work. What happened last time round wth Adidas ? They dumped us after Rafa right ?
If Nike want to pay the big bucks that's alright by me. Fund the Klopp.
