This year's kit is the best in the league..?

Is it fuck! It's the worst home kit I think I can ever remember us having. It's awful. It's like a cheap, knock-off O'Neills t-shirt that us Paddies would get on Moore St., growing up in the 80's. It's fucking putrid.
I hear they'll do one with braille print next season. You might be interested in that?

I would prefer a v-neck and I don't like the stupid fucking half-white socks - whoever did that needs fucking shooting.

... and the reason they chose 6cm is they thought that was the willy size entry requirement.

I think bluebellend and binerrrrmial are locked in some kind of titanic interweb battle to find out who is the biggest Joey Deacon of them all.

Sadly for us, they chose 6cm as the battleground.

Sadly for us?

Meh
Indeed, just read how PSG had a 470 % increase because of the sales in the US with the Jordan collection. Lets just say this is very positive for us and the numbers we can achieve (from Forbes):

The collaboration with basketball phenomenon Michael Jordan is set to push the French club past 1 million shirt sales. Popularity of the club’s shirts in the United States soared-sales of merchandise went up a staggering 470%.

Just seven years ago, PSG struggled to achieve a quarter of their 2019 projected sales figures. Their turn around off the pitch has been achieved with clever branding and backed up by on-field progressions.

Ligue 1, the domestic league PSG play in, is shown in the U.S. on beIN Sports–a channel that has seen its viewing figures fall after being dropped by three big television networks.

Comcast/Xfinity, DircetTV and Verizon Fios all parted ways with the sports broadcaster, in a move that saw its reach into American homes drop by 30 per cent. Despite the reduction (22 million homes to just 15.4 million) the market share of PSG’s merchandise increased.

One of the contributing factors in the rise of the French club’s merchandise sales was the public wearing from crossover stars.

Music artists such as Travis Scott, J. Cole and 6ix9ine have all been pictured in the Jordan collaboration clothing, along with Basketball big hitters Ben Simmons, Draymond Green, Nicolas Batum, Tony Parker and of course, Michael Jordan himself.
They don't quote the volume which probably was a few thousand at most. Considering Nike pay PSG something like €80m a year, 1 million shirts doesn't break even

Looking forward to seeing what Nike comes up with. This year’s home kit is subpar when compared to the past 2 years.

I liked when they painted our stands.
The very best thing about Crown Paints, was that enormous paint tin that used to sit on the pitch before kick off, and when they took it down, it came in two halves. I was repeatedly fascinated with that basic advertising gimmick

Edit - I cant find any pictures of this, but I am sure I am not imagining it. Someone else from the 80s please reassure me this really did happen every match ...

Yup it's awesome.

17/18 was the best kit for the past thirty years. I think this comes second, then 18/19.
