It is most likely that either Adidas or Nike will make the Liverpool kits from 2019-2020 - The Anfield’s side deal with New Balance is due to expire after the current season. [@Footy_Headlines]

Nike make some lovely kits, but some of our best kits and recent memories are ties to Adidas.

I’ll say Nike, if the deal is right obv.

Thoughts?

For the record though.. New Balance is based in New England. So there are ties with FSG there.

Nike kits are shite. They use the same designs for everyone.

That said, I don't buy them, so whoever gives us the most cash.

Know it sounds stupid, but I don't want adidas, just to avoid the stupid 3 lines down the arms

Adidas is pretty lacklustre

But you know what? Adidas has only Man Utd, Leicester and Wolves who are likely to make the top ten, and none of these are likely to be in the top four.

Maybe they'd like to remedy that with a record deal....

Also, aren’t we (Hansern) getting a little ahead of ourselves?
Assuming we’re going to get a massive offer from either of the big 2?

The twats at Adidas scorned at us getting £25m a season from Warrior and refused to match the deal when given first refusal. Fuck em, stick with New Balance and just get a higher renewal

Nike would be good - i reckon they'd go large on marketing with the LeBron connections etc. Only downside is the associations between Nike & United.

Some selective editing by you to arrive at this-
"It is most likely that either Adidas or Nike will make the Liverpool kits from 2019-2020"

For my sins, I went to the 'Footy Headlines' website and this is what I found -

In 2015, New Balance and Liverpool announced that they agreed a record-breaking shirt maker deal (the previous deal was signed between Warrior, a subsidiary of NB and Liverpool in 2012, valid for six years). No contract length was announced in 2015, but now Mirror reporter Mo Chatra revealed that Liverpool FC's kit deal with New Balance is due to expire after the current season.

Liverpool's current deal with New Balance is reported to be worth around £28m / season which is muss less than what clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United get from their kit makers.

There is no info yet which brand will make Liverpool's kits from the 19-20 season. We think that is it most likely that either Adidas or Nike will make the club's kits from 2019-2020, even though we could expect that Liverpool's new kit maker could be a brand nobody expects as of today.

So, basically, Twitter/blogger shite.
Come on, man.
