Just a quick question really after reading the Brum thread..

If I remember rightly, when he came here, wasn't it said that he could play on the left wing or upfront? Maybe my memory is failing me, but I thought it was mentioned? I thought some of his wide play (allbeit from the right) was good against Arsenal the other week.

Just a thought, Yossi is wasted on the left and he can't be worse than the other options (or Voronin).
 
I don't ever remember reading anything about the other positions he can play in Mark but we are struggling on the left. Is Riera still injured?
 
I seem to recall reading that Voronin played left side at times in Germany if anyone wants to give that one a go? 😱
 
If he can it's worth considering.

I'd sooner start Babel ahead of Voronin any day.

I'd be tempted to play Dossena on the wing over either of them purely because he will protect Insua a bit.

Don't remember reading about his role on the left either. Maybe some made comparison to how Henry was first deployed on the wing? (Not comparing Wash to Henry here before anyone says it). I don't know would a wide role suit N'gog. He likes to drift out there to pick up the ball but I can't really see him as a left side player ala Riera or Yossi. Would he have the defensive capabilities that Rafa likes to a job there? Don't think so.

Not heard anything about him mate, still out I think.. Aurelio is a decent shout I suppose, but then we're stuck with a workmanlike midfield four, with the only real creative outlet being Yossi playing in the hole (no disrespect to Kuyt and Aurelio's respective attacking talent).

Good one! I think Riera is back for tonights game. I would rather he start on the left ahead of anyone else. He is a beast with the ball at his feet. A very difficult player to dispossess.

Voronin should be led into the woods and ......... ;D
