One has to ask why is a 1st round talent like Cooks, who's always on the field, getting traded in back to back years from teams who have great passing offenses?
Yep, good move by them. Regarding Cooks, its a strange one. He has put up some very good numbers on the board. Attitude issues?
... and with Suh, could be an interesting locker for a young coach.
I think it was more to do with how much it would cost in 2019 rather than attitude issues. At a time where we picked up Britt for peanuts, who arguably does have attitude issues, you can rule it out.
The other reason might be concussion issues. He left the field a couple of times last season because of it. Notably the heavy hit in SB.

Nope.. We need a few holes in defence, history shows when we have 2 picks in 1st round, we lean towards plugging them. Wilfork, Jones and Hightower being standouts.

Listen - definitely a smart move imo. His production isn't that bad but he was a fucking idiot against seattle and cost us big time. He's also a great teammate - as per every single player basically - but he expects the ball game day, and it causes problems. I sincerely hope we now use this extra money to trade a 3rd for Earl Thomas and then draft Ridley (Alabama WR).
Bryant wants to stay in the East - he has a chip on his shoulder. Hope he goes to NE though - will do really well there though.

I guess it depends how desperate you are to get #19 and if we have a player we can get that we're willing to take a risk won't be there (perhaps Ridley?).
