Isn't putting a late, lower bid in evertons usual tactic to give the impression they are in the hunt for big names and appease deluded fans?

Are we really gonna spend 3.5m hoes on this fella ?
excited?

He's just signed for Notts forest.

Dele Adebola that is, he's supposed to be 30 odd but plays like a 50 year old and being Nigerian, well you just never know.

4-4-2 magazine have him listed in their 'New world superstars' top 10.
They are-
Hernanes
Ezequiel Lavezzi
Dentinho
Franco Zuculini
Keirrison
Gary Medel
Neymar
Radamel Falcao Garcia
Fabio Da Silva
Raphael Da Silva.

Heh, I like this from wiki:

"Falcao has been chosen by Pele to a friendly whose opponent is yet to be decided although it is believed to be either Real Madrid or AC Milan"

So it's Falcao (with Pele watching one would assume) against Madrid or Milan? He must be fucking good.

anyone else getting excited?
I'm very excited.

He's 23, still playing in Argentina.

Aguero scored more than him when he was 17, playing in an inferior team.

He can't be THAT good.

I don't think any of us our realistically expecting him to be better than Aguero, saying he's not better than an awesome player isn't an arguement for him being awful.
Indeed. Theyre only playing regularly for a team thats won 5 trophies in 3 years, what business have they got being on the list.
If you read the articles you would see that he missed almost 2 years with an acl injury.
So hes playing catch up.
That said i dont really want.

He could be a good buy at that price (Didn't we sell Leto for £3m? That pretty much covers it). I'm always hopelessly optimistic about these kind of signings so I'm all for it! Surely one of these must work sometime, surely.

As long as he isn't the only/biggest attacking signing we make this summer.

That was my bad I suppose, it should have read;

Both Da Silva brothers?

Not much of a list.

The list is iffy regardless of having both of them on there (I do rate Raphael, but his brother is nothing special). Also Oncy, when the word superstar is thrown into the mix, then the list shouldn't really include players by default because of the team they play for.

Quite if consider a total of19 starts for Raphael and 2 starts for Fabio in all completitions as playing regularly.

Degen;s started as many games for us as Fabio has started for Man Ure
It hardly matters if they are starting for the first team or reserves does it? They are rated on their potential. The potential that saw them signing for one of the biggest teams in the world at 17.
Anyways, i didnt write the fucking article did i. If you both think theyre shit, i promise i wont lose any sleep. Knobeds.

One is playing regularly due to injuries (I think the RB is Raphael) to Wes Brown and Gary Neville.

The other is not.

There is a great Falcao on Champ... can't remember if this is the guy. Either way, great name.

That said, we have a rubbish record of picking up bargains from S.America: Palletta, Lucas, Leto... 0/3.

Yeah. You figure the law of averages says we must get one right eventually.

Anyone ever seen him play?
