Passing not slick enough, but getting better towards the end. Possibly pitch a bit slow. Shouldn't take so long to get used to it.

They need to do much better, though, otherwise we’ll keep playing to Newcastle’s strengths as we did to WBA’s. They’re central midfielders FFS!
I also think Salah and Firmino have been poor with their first touches and or decision-making.

Robertson and Fabinho are our most consistent players these days (touch wood). They always give 7/10 minimum performances.
The front three are hit and miss. They always work hard but in almost every game at least one seems to be devoid of sharpness. To an extent our fault for our over-reliance on them.
Midfield is totally pedestrian. Milner and Henderson are blood and thunder type players. Possession football to break down stubborn defences isn't really what they excel at. And in fairness it's also hard to take risks when you've got what you've got behind you.
TAA is the biggest worry for me though. He's been really off since coming back into the team. He looks half asleep a lot of the time... but with no viable alternative we just have to persist and hope he can regain his focus / shaprness / whatever the fuck he's lost.

Maybe my friends are lame but I spend more time on here when we watch the match than I do chatting with them.
