Costa was success I think. He scored 52 league goals in 3 seasons for them.

Some of my Manc friends went banas about this guy after the Euros I think it was. He played decent from Spain and went to Real. I knew he was sublevel when I saw him play. A lot of headless running and halfdecent efforts. Of course he got about 0 minutes from Real and I wish he had ended up in ManU in the end.

They did most of their big business before the market went crazy.

Imagine if City tried to sign a player like Sterling from us now - they'd have to pay £100M plus.

Hasslebank was excellent too but maybe more so for Leeds. Flo was decent as was Gudjonson
