With Gerrard getting another year older, Suarez chomping his way around Barcelona and Agger surely on his way out, Rodgers next decision is who will be the next vice captain?
Who's your tip? Personally, I think Henderson is the best choice. Vocal, passionate and committed. What a turn around for the young lad. Really hope he gets it.
Your thoughts?

I'd go with Skrtel. Agger got it last season and he didn't play much leaving Suarez with the armband when neither he nor Stevie played. If Skrtel doesn't play then it's probably Henderson third choice for me.

I wouldn't name one til the new signings have settled. Surely Lovren is earmarked for the role?

I don't think Henderson has the confidence yet to exert such authority.

Kolo
Hendo
Studge
Sakho

In no particular order. I think maybe giving it to Kolo for an year would be good, as he won't see much match time anyways. Hendo will likely get the armband in those scenarios.

Easy Henderson. He should be our next Captain..

Groom him for the role...

One of the very few Leaders we have left

Henderson for now but in a couple of years we might find that Lovren or Lallana (he was Saints captain) might also be candidates.

Or Reus.

I would've said Suarez had he stayed, but now it's a toss up between Hendo and Skrtel for me. In the years to come, I can also see Sakho being in with a shout.

I think Rodgers might go with Skrtel, because he was clearly overlooked last season when he gave it to Agger. Then again, it might pose a similar issue to what he ended up with over Agger, giving the vice captaincy to someone who doesn't end up playing every week, as could well be the case with Lovren signing.

Not sure about that. I wonder how many - if any - of our players will be selected for every game, given the total number of games we'll have to play now that we're back in the CL, and I'd have thought there were risks involved (incomplete understanding of each other's play, possible resentment from other players) in giving the armband to new signings.

Jordano Hendersoni would be my bet.
