Hodgson does seem to be the most likely candidate but I'm still keeping my figners crossed we've got an ace up our sleeve.
Jorge Jesus would be very interesting indeed especially if he could bring Luiz and Angel di Maria along.
That said Hodgson is probably the only English candidate I can think of who I wouldn't be extremely underwhelmed with however I'm finding it hard to believe he should be the man to bring home no. 19.

I know it's highly unlikely mate but if we're spending £3M on sacking Rafa and then think we can hire someone slightly good without giving them any spending power what so ever then we're digging our own grave here.

I just want someone who will command the respect of the players and with a good footballing philosophy. Fuck all this negative football. We're not gonna win the league this season without significant investment so we might as well start playing some decent football. At least that will be something to look forward too.
