Haven't seen a thread on it yet. And I'm no techno whizz so I'm not going to be uploading the pictures...

... but the new kit is awful. Some funky peach trim on the collar and sleeves.

There ought to be some say for clubs over what's produced in their name. It would even be worth a (small) reduction of the sponsorship money in exchange for a degree of control over the garbage routinely produced by the overpaid, underemployed hipsters inhabiting each kit company's design department.

I'm reliably told Nike is an equal opportunity employer and has appointed a visually impaired designer who uses echolocation to produce new designs

I've seen worse.. I'm hoping the trim looks more orange than peach.

I cant help think that it was designed with the kids market in mind. Kids prefer our away kits as they are brighter.

Bit why orange / pink in the first place?
White would look so much better.

Nike are fucking idiots
Because we are old and nostalgic.. kids these days want bright.

Let's be honest. Who gets replica kits these days? It's all about the money.

I bought one from a title winning season. Never worn it just collecting dust.

Because we where boss in an orange kit..

My favourite away kit in recent times..

The one that made opposing teams keepers need to wear sunglasses

Hate the jersey love the training top.

Will be a bit shit to see Hendo lift the quadruple in that shirt next year!

That training top looks nice - but it isn't Liverpool. Hopefully they redeem themselves with the other shirts.

Looks good. Inspiration from 1964 and the first all red kits, with some elements of energy. Like it. Will defo buy it.
The training top aswell.

All the comments ive seen from the official release stuff on Facebook show 99% of fans fucking hate it.

Which prick thought peach and black should be on a Liverpool home shirt? Is this a fucking joke or something?

Part of me wonders are Nike producing crap due to the way the money structure of the deal was agreed.... if they sell less they have to pay us less.

Weird logic as if they sell less they earn less.

As a traditionalist you would want the shirt on the left but I can see why the kids would prefer the actual new kit.
It's hard to judge without seeing it in real life but at the moment it looks like an improvement on this season's abomination.
Not that I really give a shit.

I can confirm my 6 year old grandson thinks the peachy one is best.

I'm no fan of this season's kit but TBH I'm not sure the new one is an improvement. AFAIC anything other than white in the trim detracts from the look, and it's not only a question of tradition because, in my book anyway, detracting from the look dilutes the brand too.
Absolutely. At least with this year's kit, even though it's awful, one could argue that the green / teal colour is part of our crest.

Where on earth has this peach / orange come from?! Has nothing to do with us. And don't get me started on those awful jagged diagonal lines. An utter abomination of a kit. Also looks like a super cheap kit.

Does the club have any say in what this shower of wankers produce for us? Serious question.

If the answer is yes, then my next question is who the fuck approves these monstrosities?

Its just another example of the fans being totally disregarded....

At the end of the day it is the fans who bloody wear the thing the most, buy it the most.... so surely they should have a say about how it looks....

Where does this nonsense about kids liking strange colour combinations come from?

Do all your kids have ADHD or something?

Fwiw it's not a nice kit (and you know I have liked quite a few kits that you old fogeys hate). That's not because it's not traditional. It's because it's shit.

What's shit about it is not not just the colour. It's the strange lines in front that have no aesthetic purpose. They look like an afterthought. The collar + cuffs lack any imagination whatsoever.

The training gear is top notch as with last year though, so I'm afraid this is a deliberate marketing strategy to make the kits shit, so that ppl buy the training gear (which looks great in comparison), as well as the kit (because you just have to)

Now, get off my lawn… [emoji16]
