anyone gonna pay £50 to have an extra white stripe?

Is there not some doofer that the champions have on their kit? People will pay 50 quid for that.

Is this confirmed? Sure I've seen this as a photo-shopped mock up before (an amateur one). If it is, once again I'm curious as to why only one smegging thing is gold with the rest white (opposite to this year).

It's all but confirmed, same leak has come from that mock up (by the lad on RAWK who always gets its right, for about 7 years now) & a couple of other places too.

Sometimes details like colours of lettering is different though, this close to the launch if be betting that this is spot on though, cos most of the pr staff & some media printing companies here will have seen it.

Grim, in that case it's a sideways (slightly back IMO) cash-in of the worst kind..... a lazy one. In a year that will probably see a euro kit too :/

I disagree, they've started with pretty much the best kit they can do (classic red no frills), so adding tiny bits is better than doing anything too dramatic imo.

Hence my comments, in the age of annual football shirts (and a euro I expect) at £50 a pop, then I would expect a bigger difference than one trim line and swapping logo and liver bird colours. It looks 'ok' (personally think this years' better, and really pisses me off the liver bird in gold) but the ethic behind it is pathetic.

Would have preferred a gold Warrior logo but decent enough. I hope they sort out the other kits this year although have to say the white one is growing on me as we keep winning in it!

I think it's ok, I don't mind it. I like that it's got some white on it now, cos to me an LFC kit never looks right without some. On the other hand I think the 'piping' is a bit ugly and slightly too obtrusive.

Not bad overall. Probably not as good as the current one, but much better than the very plain first one they did, which I hated.

I hope we get rid of Warrior after their deal finishes, though. Apart from the away kits being completely atrocious, having an obscure brand still seems symptomatic of our diminished status a couple of years ago.

They got rid of the shit collar. That's worth something. Anyway the super fans on Rawk are always wanking off to 'classic' non-designs. This should make them happy.

how longs this warrior contract for btw? I know theyre paying us loads but surely we'll be able to with someone that would give us even more as the reigning champions

6 years from 12/13 I think, so 18/19 should see new deal/manufacturer.

well i suppose we'll have doubled our fanbase by then with all the barca fanboys and ex united gloryhunters coming to watch the best team in football, so i guess we can get a good deal either way

Yeah, they're reliable. The yellow one is ghastly. It reminds me of cheese on toast garnished with tomato sauce.

just seen these on rawk, no idea if its reliable

Yeah, they're done by that lad who describes them & works with a photoshop dude to get them right. Think he works for the club or is someone very close to them as he's got it right throughout a few seasons despite the manufacturer changing.
