[article]The Liverpool 2018-19 goalkeeper shirt is bright yellow with black logos and a black dot pattern on the sleeves. This pattern is also the reason that the Western Union sleeve logo is white, which isn't ideal.

Shorts and socks of the same color and style complete the Liverpool 18-19 goalkeeper kit.[/article]

You'd think a fucking designer could manage to grasp the concept of not putting black dots in an area so you could put a black sponsors logo in the now all yellow box remaining.

It's not exactly rocket science.

Not one game played and yet people are already judging the new yellow goalie top. Do we need Southampton to use this kit first and then splash £70mil next summer to get it? It's tough being a footy kit nowadays.

I think there should be a first team shirt and a fan shirt. The design of the first team shirt should generally stick faithfully to the traditional template - a 'proper' red with white around the neck and cuffs, with as few embellishments as possible - and should be relaunched with slight changes every four years. The fan shirt should be given to the foppish designer geeks and relaunched every year, with whatever crap they want on it, and will never been worn by proper footballers, just the selfie-taking twats who now blight the game. The first team shirt would be premium priced to reflect it'll last for at least four years, the fan shirt would be priced to reflect an annual turnover (and they'll sell more than now without exploiting so shamelessly working class families).

Don't think that would work at all.

Fans want to replicate their heros not wear something totally different not to be seen in 12 months.

I Guess most fans are not rocket scientists so they wouldn't even care....
