Strange corporate decision this. Why put all that money into establishing Warrior as a football brand (incl boots) to change it all after two years and re-brand as the parent company who were better known in the first place??

I assume all other 'Warrior' clubs will be in the same boat and that it is an actual u-turn by New Balance Inc. Well not u-turn but you know where I'm coming from....

The most logical answer would be that the branding didn't work and that they were losing way more money than they'd planned to initially lose through their investment.
Using a much better known, and bigger, brand worldwide probably makes more sense to them.

Nah, I'd go with Nike. They make boss kits.
After this season they'll only have City left as one of the big clubs aswell.

I never feel like we'd ever be in the frame for Nike but I think they'd be one of the biggest names we could go for - and their non playing kit is probably superior to all others IMO.

Agreed. As I said earlier when I was out buying a kit for a mate it just struck me how awful ours look next to the other kits from the top clubs.
Its not exactly easy on the eye and if you're out buying a kit for the first time I doubt you'd pick ours.

I think we still sell a hell of a lot of shirts worldwide, so I am not sure what they expected the Return of this involvement would be?

Ha. Not many people wear anything else in Liverpool. For quite a while you couldn't get in to bars in town without shoes on, but that's well gone, wear a nice pair of trabs (or webs, as they seem to be known now) & you're in.

I think Nike shirts are generally the best. Adidas are not far behind, but they sometimes ruin it by insisting on their iconic 3-stripes.
