He's not shy of getting himself into all kinds of trouble this young lad and I doubt it'll give him many more fans anywho I still believe we really should consider a cheeky bid come January. Him and Torres could be a potentially unplayable attack.

- I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of minutes on the pitch. I feel I've done everything right in the build-up after my injury and I feel I am in the best shape of my life. I even feel better than before the injury where I was a definite starter and close to fulfilling my potential. Now I'm only a few steps from peaking but I'll only get there from playing. That's all I want now, Nicklas Bendtner tells Danish newspaper B.T. and continues:

- That is all there is to it. When I'm at 100 percent I can't accept to be sitting on the bench.

- Between the lines, if the situation doesn't change and if I'm still going to be benched for Arsenal, then I have to leave. That much is obvious. My main priority is clear however as always it is to play for Arsenal. I've been very patient and I don't want to be sitting on the bench no more. I want to play week in week out and I hope it'll be whilst playing for Arsenal.

It's a stupid rant really but it was evident that someone would be left disappointed at Arsenal when you take a glance at the ammount of attacking-minded players Wenger's got to pick from. With Chamakh finding his feet rather quickly and Van Persie coming back from injury the battle for a starting place will be fierce. I'd even be tempted to go for Chamakh should Bendtner be the one Wenger choses to play the most. Don't think they'll manage to keep all three of them happy especially not when considering the likes of Wlcott, Arshavin and Nasri will play as well.

They'll both be a definte upgrade to what we've already got. No offense N'Gog, Eccleston and Kuyt the Striker.

Chamakh is better than bendtner, so that leaves bendtner benches and wanting ti leave

not for me.

Not impressed with either really Kris, I think we can do better, especially for the price. Both are decent and I do think Bendtner is (slightly) underrated, but still, someone quick and powerful.

Bendtner is a decent player are gets a lot of stick here but I don't think he is the player we should be looking at and Arsenal won't want to sell to us anyway.

They are quite similiar in style and both would be instant upgrades. Difficult to tell who's the better one but I'd be please with any of the two as they'd instantly upgrade our current strike-force.

Bentdner is fucking shite. I keep telling you this mate but you're not hearing me. 😉

Oh I agree they'd both be an upgrade, however I'm jusy not sold on bendtner. Plus it's be relatively impossible to convince arsenal to sell him to us

Vlad has said it for a few years now and many has followed including myself, we are in desperate need for a striker as we simply can't keep on relying on Torres and N'Gog for all his efforts and Euro-goals simply aren't good enough to lead the line.

One of the main areas for us to improve. Alongside the wings.

I was waiting for that. You have told him many many times. Ha!

I think it was Fabio who said it a while back...
Ngog > Bender

I would rather keep hold of Ngog and see him develop than waste any money on Bender, he's not very good at all.

Fucking hell, not again!

What's that title supposed to mean by the way? If you'd just called it 'Bendtner moans - hey, why don't we sign him?', I wouldn't have bothered reading the thread.

No matter who has said that it's still bordering to the daftest of daftness. (?)

There's a gulf between the two in terms of class and potential.

Sorry should've made it more clear Bunny.

It's referring to a motion picture that at one point had me laughing my tits off btw.

I thought JOhn Henry might have been Greek or something.

[/quote]
His wife could be... he doesn't look Greek at all.

More like an older and more corporate version of Harry Potter.

Arsenal aren't in need of cash, and Wenger won't sell him to a rival on the cheap.

He's certainly a better player than Ngog presently, but is he so much better that it justifies the amount of money we'd have to spend to get him? I think not.

Wouldnt mind him if we could sign him for anywhere upto 7mil. He is a big strong player who can hit a ball well aswell as head a ball. We need strikers so i wouldnt say no

And in terms of personality and application, too.
Ngog gives his all and doesn't strut around like some world beater.
Bender thinks he has 'made it' already. He is a cocky shit.

Ngog is not that far behind him now in terms of ability and I can't see much potential in Bender at all.
He hasn't improved much in the last three seasons.

I can't stand players who do that, especially ones that are clearly nowhere near as good as they think they are. Riera used to make me feel that way.

He goes to interviews for MOTD and Sky wearing fucking stupid looking clothes/hats and he chews gum throughout.
I know this has fuck all to do with playing ability but it shows him up as they fucking nonce that he is.

If he wasn't a complete tosser he might be worth taking a chance on. He has shown at a young age that he can get goals in the Premiership, so he could turn out decent

Yeah, I wouldn't be against Bendtner coming to us, I think he could have a couple of amazing seasons in the premiership.

I think I would have to leave 6CM if we signed another Dane.

I'd follow you.

In your dreams.

I'd rather have Oscar Cardozo

He certainly knows how to hit a ball. How old is he now?

He gets goals in a team that creates a lot of chances for him.
We've all seen how they play, even Babel could score a lot of goals there.
He didn't do much when he played for Birmingham, I know he was a good bit younger then but in a team where chances were fewer, he didn't do much.

He bagged 11 goals in 42 games for Birmingham as an 18-year-old.

The Championship is by no means the easiest place for any striker to play in at such young age.
