If Tevez is intent on lining his agents pockets with another move, and that seems to be his main motivation in life, then they could do alot worse than replacing him with Aguero. Not exactly a like for like replacement and Kun wont cover as much ground as Tevez but honestly if they are trying to build a side to win a title then they need shot of Tevez, top player when motivated but his attitude is poison. People talk about him as a leader but he is not the sort of guy you want to build a team around, hes one of the most selfish players around, they would be better off with Kompany or Yaya as captain because he really is a spoilt little child. His constant agitation and need to be coddled has reached the point where he is more hassle then hes worth and with potentially Aguero Balotelli Dzeko to lead the line they're not short of options, should the offload Adebayor Santa Cruz and Bellamy then they might even buy another striker. Cant see them finishing lower than 2nd, they are genuine contenders this season

I don't think I've ever seen Tevez take the field without being motivated; he just can't help himself. He's a leader, an inspiration and covers more ground than any striker in the world today - Kuyt included. No dispute about the agitation but the benefit of Tevez far outways the negatives. He will be a huge loss. Aguero would be fantastic for us - but we'd be lost with him if he didn't have the energy of a Suarez or Kuyt to support him.

Agree hes always been highly motivated once he gets onto the pitch but football is a team game and the dynamics of a dressing room are complicated, the way he conducts himself off the pitch is the polar opposite of how the captain of a club should behave.
As for being exactly what clubs at the top are looking for well it seems pretty obvious that his attitude was not looked upon favourably at Old Trafford when the option to buy up his contract came around. No doubting his ability as a player but if I were a city fan Id want rid of him, you wait 30 years for a trophy then when you finally win one the club captain who happens to be the best paid player in the country has to be threatened with a fine to attend the victory parade, no thanks.
