He scored a couple of good goals for us.

I really don't believe he's as shit as is being painted, but, hey, once the fever hits....

Massive loss. Only half the fee back, for a fat useless fuck who the Stevie Wonder Scouting Network would have avoided like a leper.

Maybe Rafa will get an extra year on his.

Thats not enough money.

Or Rafa might buy Montse a new watch. It has been a while since she had one.
rafa won't be able to spend a penny of this money.

if dossena goes for 4 mill and we make a bit more on sorrow-nin, rafa best get the money to spend. i can't fucking take anymore of this shit.

Good. At least we got most of the fee back.
I thought we paid 8 million pounds for him?

That's €4m more than I thought we'd get anyway.

Fucking HUGE loss.

To the local kebab shop takings.
Least he is gone!

£7 Mill, so about a £2.5 Million loss on transfer fee (prolly closer to £6.5 million after agent fees and wages paid).

He scored a few good goals, just like Risse. Bye if true. Would not believe until signed on dotted line, just like Voronin.

I don't think anyone can really grumble at the fee, given he's been a complete disaster and done little justify moving on for £4m+. Sound business (in a sense).

We payed close to 7 mill £.

We will get back 4,4 mill £.

Regarding how shite he's been, thats not to bad.

So we've got rid of one fat, slow useless cunt of a left-back?

What about the other one?
Hopefully he´ll be our young, back up (at best) lb for a few years so he can develop in peace.

What a let down it would be if the deal doesn't go through at the end of the day. 🙁

Popquiz!

Here's two quotes about Drossena from a thread way back in Aug 2008, just after pre-season, in a "what do you think so far?" thread about the useless cunt:

Quote 1: "Doss is boss

i like his quick crossing and ability to run at players"

Quote 2: "I don't have an awful lot of faith in Dossena's prospects. He was caught out of position loads of times"

Can you guess who posted them?

I'll give you a couple of clues: one was me, the other one uses a Headwand to post.

Forgive me for any brusqueness, as I have consumed much alcohol tonight but has the fucking wanker actualy left?

I mean as in confirmed departure.

Before some smartie harangues me for talkinbg in such terms about a Liverpool player, forgive me, as i said.

But has he actually fucking LEFT?

If he's moving to another league (like La Liga) which he had never played in, than I would say its a fair offer since it can be a gamble and failed signing for his new club. Alas, in this case, a move back to a league where he 'starred' or at least, performed decent enough to gain international call-ups. Its an obvious case of Napoli (or any Italian clubs) taking advantage of our need for cash and urgency to sell.

And also the fact that he's been fucking shite since he got here, and is being kept out of the side by a dreadful player.

Ehmm as in he's more or less proven in Serie A and that being shite in another league doesn't necessarily equate to deteriorate in skill/ability? Anyways, thats how the market work though. I was just being naive. Blah.

Liverpool Defender Andrea Dossena Has Napoli Medical - Report
The stopper has arrived in Naples for his medical and to sign with the Partenopei...
Jan 7, 2010 1:17:07 PM

Liverpool defender Andrea Dossena is just hours away from signing a deal with Napoli after landing in the city this afternoon.

Il Corriere Dello Sport reports the player arrived at Naples Capodichino international airport after boarding a flight from England this morning.

Dossena was with his wife, but he did not make any comment as he sidestepped the gathered press pack who were waiting for him.

The report claims he has headed straight over to Napoli's Castelvolturno training ground in Caserta for a medical, after which he will be presented with his new contract.

An official announcement from the club is expected within the next few hours. The Italian returns to club football on the peninsula for the first time since 2008 when he left Udinese to join Liverpool. He has made little impact at Anfield though, playing just 13 games.
