Alright lads, I want to come up to watch the Napoli game, I know there are tickets available but I need a fancard to buy, anyone have a fancard I can use to get myself a ticket?

Anyone going to be around for it aswell?

How many are you looking for, Ijg?

I think the best way would be to PM someone who has a fancard and isn't using it (if you need a few) and then bank in the cash..then meet them in Liverpool to pick up the ticket (s).

Will be pretty difficult for them to send you the tickets or card now with the game just over a week away.

Can't help on the fancard side as I've used my allocation up sorting Avvy out. Will be at the game though

I would like to help mate but it would be far from certain that my fan card would get to you on time.
You would probably be better off getting one of the locals to get you a ticket, as they are able to get four per card. That way you shouldn't have too much dificulty getting the ticke/card of them.

I think there is still lots of avalability for the game so I would expect tickets to go on General sale at some point. The only thing possibly preventing this would be crowd control, with the club keen not to allow Napoli fans/ultras get their hands on tickets for areas primarily occupied by Liverpool fans.
If you want to take a chance on the vageries of the Irish postal system and hope that the card will get to you on time you can pm me and I will try to help.

Take the Count's advice, Ijg.

That's what I did.

There's some hiccup with the online sale though, the offal says that Fancard sales will be until the 19th, but if you call up the ticketing office, it's still only for Members/Fancards who can get 4 tickets.

I hadn't figured on the ultras as being the problem behind the lack of general sales, but I think the Count's right.

I've just checked and there's stil loads of tickets available at the Centenary and Main Stand, not so much in the Kop and Annie Road.

It should be on General Sale very soon, but the problem will be timing of course.

Sunny : indeed you have, and many thanks 8)

Um, I don't suppose you have a bix axe handy?

I kind of told the missus you were like Paul Bunyan ;D

Sorry mate, but Italian Ultra's rarely travel abroad cos they tend to be cowardly, fucking shite bags who prefer the odds stacked in their favour.

It won't be an issue.

You are probably right mate.
It was the only reason I could think of for the club delaying the general sale of tickets for the match.

Apparently I can purchase tickets with a membership number, would they be sent to the members house? If they were, I can ring up LFC buy the tickets with someones number and pay them postage to send the tickets to me?

I cannot be certain but I think that tickets would be sent to the card holders address.
That is why I am unsure if I can help you with my card as I live in Dublin and I doubt if there is enough time for me to recieve the tickets and then forward them on to you.

Ah shit, I'm going to try the Nottingham Supporters Club if I can't find anyone, failing that I'll wait for general sale.

I don't know why they delayed the General Sale for so long; it was supposed to be from the 19th..it's not going to be easy for people to get their tickets in the post if they buy online with the game less than a week away.

They can get the physical tickets in Liverpool, of course...but it might be pretty inconvenient.

Ijg : you're not going for it?
