Played against him a few times. He's promising alright, interesting that Victory turned him down for years though.
He made massive strides this season, last 2 months he's been dominant. Confidence is flowing and we will see but he should leave for a championship team IMO as he is built for England.

Why do you say that? Maybe I have such high hopes for him beacuse the Australian national team lacks such pace and directness.

I love how Ryan subtly reminds us from time to time that he is playing decent level football.

I've started so I'll finish...

For the last two years I played in the League above this lad Dave.

He might go on to being a decent bit-part player in Europe mate, but that's it.

He's got pace, decent technique, and can beat a man. But so can 10,000 other youngsters mate. There are comparisons being made to Kewell in the media this week too. At the same age Kewell was playing (and playing brilliantly) in the Premier League. Oar's just established himself as a first team regualr at Brisbane Roar this season mate.

Germany - Toni Kroos

Belgium - That 16 year old Anderlecht kid
I think Kroos would be worth a cheeky bid in the summer. Everybody in Germany knows he is an absolute top-level talent, but if Ribery chooses to stay in Bayern, they could very well decide that they can't guarantee Toni enough playing time in Bayern and they would rather let him go abroad than strengthen their competition in Germany. Kroos is a natural-born playmaker with good pass and vision and a great shooting technique.

Unfortunately, knowing how much Van Gaal loves working with young players, the more likely scenario seems that Ribery will leave and Kroos will stay.

Eriksen is the obvious Danish shout and I'm not going to chance that - but I have to say I was baffled to see the 16-year-old-and-35-days striker Kenneth Zohore from FC Copenhagen enjoying his debute last night hence becomming the youngest player ever to be fielded in the Danish Superleague.

He's big as a house (Heskey-style) and seems rather skillful.

Guess who (he was only 15 on that shot):

Having read the article I think it's fair to say - albeit interesting - that it's rather flawed.

The likes of Felliani, Defour, Witsel (who), Vertonghen, Mirallas (who), Dembele (who) are all 21 or 22-years-old and neither are playing at any of the top clubs in Europe.

Eden Hazard and this Lukaku bloke seems the real deal but deeming them as a dark horse despite of this seems pre-mature at best.

Vermalen looks a great defender at Arsenal and they'll probably have a decent team in a few years. But winning the WC in 2014? Extremely unlikely, even if they qualifies, which they haven't done for years.

Having to face the likes of Germany and Turkey will probably see them struggle to qualify for the EC in 2012 too.

That said especially St. Lieges results over the past years has given indications that things could be on the up for Belgium-footy.
