I try to support Liverpool players. I am OK with Mignolet, I was hoping Benteke would score more than any of the other strikers as the pressure mounted. I am hopeful still for Lazar ... and I even have somewhat bizarre hopes of seeing Balotelli as a success (hopefully JJ will not read this). But I just cannot see it turning around for Moreno.
I think I'm the last one. And even I'm doubtful.

As far as Moreno's concerned: I like the guy and I can still see a player in there trying to get out. In practice, though, I'm finding it hard to keep the faith that he can actually improve. It's beginning to look as though he's just not capable of knuckling down to the hard work he needs to do on his game.
It's probably not hard work JJ .. just an inability to keep up his concentration levels and to keep his brain in gear to stop himself attempting ridiculous tackles.

I still like him. I have ever since be ran the pitch and smashed a goal past Spurs. Not many people could ever have scored a goal like that. A lot was asked of him last year because we had no natural width in the squad and he was integral to providing it. That explains some of his positioning troubles.
There is no getting away from the fact he is a shit, brainless defender though. The thinking aspect doesn't doesn't come naturally to him which is a polite way of saying he's a brainless cunt. We need a reliable solid LB option and that's why I'm continually surprised by the links to an unknown youth player. If the former was being brought in then id have no problem with Moreno competing for a spot but it doesn't look likely. In the context of signing Chilliwell I'd rather Moreno be fucked off. The two of them competing for the LB spot is a risk too far.

I think Klopp is better than us to judge if Moreno is good enough or not. In a few games last season he didn't attack as much as he usually do and he played much better in defense. It isn't only his fault that he is out of position as often as he is. We needed him high up the pitch to create chances and he can't be in two places at the same time. He had some comedy moments but so had all our defenders.
If our attacking players created more chances then he wouldn't need to attack as much as he do. Remember that it is a team game. He is the best wing back in the PL in the attacking half but as usual what a player is good at something then no one brings that up instead what a player is bad at is brought up in page after page.
It all comes down to how attacking Klopp want our wing backs to be.
