I wonder if, when FSG appointed Comoli as DOF, they had a different vision of the type of football manger and his role in the club, than what they have ended up with in Kenny.
After all, he was brought in as a caretaker manager until the end of last season, perhaps to give the board time to uncover the man they wanted as the manager they wanted.
However Kenny was so successful with his rescue mission , that FSG's hands were tied, and they had no choice but appoint a manager that didn't full fill the role of manager as they thought it should be.
So now we are left with owners and a legendary manager, both with differing opinions of how the club and team progress through the future, with neither getting their own way entirely.
Just a thought.................................
