He meant Luke Young 😉

Haha

That would be grand. But lets face it, the Citeh getting Milner, Spurs getting A Young, and us getting Crouch is more likely.

It says on the news that Villa might go for Moyes.
Could MON end up at Everton if that were the case?

regards

I have a feeling that this will work out badly for both Villa and MON.

They've missed out on Hughes now too.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I'd be surprised if Moyes went there. Villa are not a huge step up from everton and i imagine he wants a better job ultimately.

It is possible that both believe that they have a fighting chance for the Old Trafford job...i would think Fergie would step down at the end of the year.

Only if it's stepping down into a coffin.

He's never leaving.

If he does not challenge for the title this season, there is every chance he would step down.

If liverpool get a mega rich owner - he would step down saying something like football has lost its moral fabric.

I doubt the old drunk is going anywhere any time soon, although if City start doing as well as they think they will would he be able to stand it?

If MON does have an eye on that job, which I really doubt he would get anyway, he has made a rather silly move by resigning

Bob Bradley, the US head coach, is amongst the favorites to replace MON.

Hughes must be a bit miffed that he didn't hang about

if milner and young are sold (as expected) then hughes has a good chance of finishing above them.

Is MON the English Rafa?

Aston Villa players apparently celebrated the departure of Martin O'Neill from the club by texting pictures of bottles of champagne to each other, according to a report from The Daily Mirror.

Certain members of the squad have apparently been expressing doubts over O'Neill's tactics and training methods in recent times, with many said to have been questioning his loyalty to certain players and his propensity for playing individuals out of position.

Indeed, the report claims that O'Neill said to a group of players at training recently that they looked as though they "hated him".

There have also been reports that the Ulsterman told the squad to "get your trainers" to do more running after Richard Dunne asked him to introduce more ball work into training.

Ahh that last line is a rub off from Cloughie I bet. Its the kind of thing his old boss would have said when questioned for sure.

I remember the incident when someone turned up unshaved, Clough refused to let him board the team bus.

Better back-up than Ngog, but more a joke from me than a serious call. However I think he would be a cheap option.

Especially if it's true that MON left because Lerner lowered the boom on transfers, which could well mean Hughes gets more to spend than he would have at Villa.
