Sky Sports understands Liverpool's move for free agent midfielder Mohamed Diame is back on.

Diame, who played at Wigan in the 2011/12 season, is one of the top Bosmans around this summer and a host of clubs are after the Senegal international.
The move appeared to have collapsed following the sacking of former Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish.
However, new manager Brendan Rodgers has given the green light for the deal, as he is a big fan of the midfielder.
Liverpool could face competition from Aston Villa for Diame, with Paul Lambert keen to sign him after taking over at Villa Park.

lol. He'd probably play a bit like Downing. Constantly looks clueless and doesn't really offer an alternative.
 
I'm not the most patient person in the world. But honestly, if I hired Brendan Rodgers and a week later he came to me asking to sign this fugazi, I'd fire him there and then. He'd be expecting a yes or no answer, but it shouldn't even come to that. Just the fact this idea had crossed his mind ought to be the end for him.

Did you want Kenny sacked then?
 
Here's the thing, Kenny is already a legend. It's done. He did it.

Brendan is someone I'd really love to see do the same. I'd glady help him to achieve it if I could. But he's just started. And doing stupid fucking shit like signing Diame isn't a great start. At all.
 
Our state of the art, progressive managerial team - from Swansea - want to sign a guy who couldn't get his game at Wigan and needs a heart machine by the field? Has to be a wind-up...

I reckon it works off a battery although I imagine there's an option to plug it in and run it off the mains too.
 
He was playing regularly until it was clear he wasn't gonna sign and then they started benching him. I think he's a decent backup. Get rid of spearing

Mohamed Diame has passed a cardiac medical with a London specialist as talks continue over a move to West Ham.

Sunderland and Aston Villa remain interested in the former Wigan midfielder, 24, but Sam Allardyce is in pole position.

Don't think we had anything to worry about. Like he said it was kenny that wanted him. Even though i don't think he's as bad as some of you make out. He's a lot better than spearing. Whenever i saw him he looked very strong and passed the ball well. Not sure what all the hate is about.
