At this rate 'Arry won't be far behind Modric out the door.

Quite.

Yeah i think everyone concerned knows he'll be off to manage England soon enough mate. It would certainly explain some of arry's comments recently + maybe why Spurs have mostly limited themselves to loan signings of late.

Indeed he seems to be creating a way out for himself. You have to wonder who Spurs will bring in, they will want somebody ambitious who is happy to work within a budget, I wouldnt be surprised if they offer Moyes an escape route from the disaster that is Everton, you would think Spurs or Villa will make a move for him

A fair few Villans were expecting them to be in for Moyes when GH left. Can't see them getting rid of McLeish now though. The Spurs job might interest him but there'd have to be money available, or it'd be a case of "out of the frying-pan into the fire" albeit with a better squad.

BTW if Moyes does leave the blueslime I'm having some of Vlad's seasonal bet on them going down.

Harry Redknapp has revealed Spurs missed out on a staggering £13million windfall for Gio Dos Santos in January.

The north Londoners were made the amazing offer for the Mexican misfit by Udinese during the summer. The Serie A side were flush after selling winger Alexis Sanchez to Barcelona for £24million.

Dos Santos, however, ended up scuppering the deal.

Redknapp said: “Gio wanted to move. But we couldn’t let him go. We had a £13m offer from Udinese for him.

“It was £10million down and £3m do-able bonuses. A big sell-on. He wouldn’t go. He wanted to go to Seville who were offering 3million Euros. You can’t blame the chairman for not letting him go.”

It means Spurs have missed out on a monster £53million for two players
who wanted out of the club after turning down £40million from Chelsea for Luka Modric.

Redknapp now believes chairman Daniel Levy will offer Modric a new deal. He said: “Only Gio and Luca are here out of the lads who wanted to go. Luka will just get on with it now. Gio is a talent he has got a part to play.

“Daniel will sit down with Luka and discuss his contract and make a deal with him. We are looking to make him a good offer.”

I really don't believe a single word that comes out of that melted head
