It must be creating an odd mindset in the team. When we concede and go behind, as against Cardiff, the team must just think "ah well, not to worry'. Whereas for years if we a team scored against us we often didn't win, especially if they scored first.

You wonder if this will have a long term affect on the way the team deals with these things in matches. On the positive side, the idea that we can always just score more than the other team and get back at them, and usually be right. But on the negative side, the idea that we can always just score more than the other team and get back at them, and be wrong when we play a really strong team.

suarez is currently top of the "european golden shoe" (why is it not called "boot" anymore ??) by 4pts (2 goals) from ronaldo and 10pts (5 goals) from diego costa . Sturridge is 6th on 38points.

They should also factor penalties in that also . It's 2 points for a goal in top 5 leagues , a pen should be something like 1 or 1.5 pts . That would really show the top out and out strikers then .

We know Suarez is a little genius but fuck me - Sturridge - just wow! Watched the Cardiff game again yesterday and he was absolutely immense especially in the second half.

I feel bad for how proud I am. I'm going to show homeless people this chart on my weekly 'motivate the homeless' jaunt.

I wonder how Suarez's and Sturridge's stats for minutes/goal look like for games against those in the top 7 mini league and those outside of it.

He's still scored about 15 and his goal per minute ratio was 80 something minutes a month or so ago. He's only played 5 games less than Sturridge this season.

Who also had an injury. Not having a pop, it just seems so incredibly obvious. Pretty sure everyone on there is now 20+ for the season, Aguero is on 15 (may have a good mpg, but could hardly be a fair comparison if only playing like half the games as the other 5).

The Sturridge injury thing kind of aids my point, though, if Sturridge is there, why isn't Aguero? I only ask because I saw stats not too long ago and it had Suarez, Sturridge and Aguero's minutes per goal ratio and Aguero's was the best.

Yeah, I'm denying Sturridge has more, but I reckon Aguero has a better goals to minute ratio. That's all I'm saying.
