I don't think Gerrard has the discipline to perform that role. Plus he'd be well pissed off if asked to do it

So would I

Gerrard could be a great RB, he could be a great CB, he could be a great CM. But what would rather have him be - Babbel, Carragher, Alonso? Or Messi?

So how would Charlie Adam come in eh? We still need a midfield shield.

Gerrard will be the anchor man in midfield..

Thats my theory anyway...

He'd play anywhere if asked to do so.. Kenny can mould him for that role..
I dunno mate I think we'd be left badly exposed with him anchoring the midfield not ignoring the fact that he'd be wasted there.

Jon's idea of sticking him on the right would benefit us more.
you would probably find Suarez will be on the right if we sign him..

I doubt Kenny's going to ask you to do it though.

Two good games and two top notch goals .... Judging by the way Wolves came at us today his goal was the winner really, the confidence it gave was crucial. A really really good result today, with key players in Stevie and Carra coming back in soon and hopefully a couple of good new players, well .. Maybe just maybe we can at least enjoy ourselves watching the rest of the season. Chuffed with that.
Shelvey looked good too, pleased to see Poulsen look pissed off to be taken off also, desire is key. Full marks to Kenny.

Great signing by Roy.

Ha, very true.

Great signing by roy. Especially as he said he didnt know his best position... and then proved that he didnt.
That's harsh, he played him on the right a few times but mostly played him in his favoured role. Shit happens. He's not the first manager (or Liverpool manager) to play a player out of position.

Really? I thought he was mostly played out of position.
