FC Copenhagen 1 Rosenborg 0 (2-2 on agg.)

The Danes should be at least 4-0 up at halftime and are completely in control, sadly squandering chance after chance. Game is still on.

Spurs are in control against the young boys cruising 2-0 at halftime.

Ajax 1 Kiev 0

2nd goal was courtesy of a blatant hand ball by Jermain Defoe. Cheating piece of shit.

Copenhagen got easy one route 1st half against a complete bullshit line up. RBK put out youngsters while they had their best and most experienced midfielders on the bench. Another factor was that Annan was on a suspencion. Annan and a decent CD would have put them through easily. But from what I saw this team has nothing to do in the CL..... And their cockhead coach can stuff himself...

Haha don't be so bitter mate.

FC Copenhagen were at least one class above Rosenborg last night if not two. Men against Boys and how on earth the scorline was kept down to 1 goals against 0 is beyond belief. The ammount of sitters FC Copenhagen squandered was unreal and almost costed them their place.

By a mile however the best team progressed and I've got a feeling with a bit of luck that the Danes will even make it to the 1/8-finals of this years tournament.

Not bitter at all. RBK showed that it will be better to play the Euro league. It is not just to qualify for CL, but you are supposed to play there also 😉

Yes Copenhagen had lots of chances. However a weak and bleak RBK could have got two in the first half (Huge chances). Copenhagens defence was shlow and unstructured... And the reason they created chances was that RBK trew a 19 y.o. who made hi debut into Central defence, as well as trying to use a central defender as defensive midfielder. None of those had the tempo to play there (Much like Lucas).

In the 2nd half Mr Strand dictated the midfilder much more and in the end Copenhagen looked lost and couldnt even create counters against a 2 men defence... So the solid 1st half was dwn to a very naive RBK line up more than class from Copenhagen. I mean even Grønkjær looked like a world beater out there in the 1st half§!!!!

Haha yeah that too... but still they've actually got a few players that would be handy to have in Liverpool these days. Their LB would walk straight into the team. Oscar Wendt. We really should be looking closer at him.

Their striker Dame N'Doye for all his misses against Rosenborg is another very interesting player that could make it perhaps in England. Then there is this 22-year-old Brazilian Claudemir - has already played 80 games in the Dutch Eresdivisie for Vittesse. Everything we would've hoped Lucas to be actually. Strong, techincally very skilled, amazing eye for a pass and working endelssy. A player to watch for the future. He even looks Brazilian. Ish.

Last but not least their Icelandic defender Ottesen is build for the Premiership. Like a fridge with good composure and pace. Could be the next Brede Hangeland in a few years.

You were much improved after the break agreed and as always when you don't score on your chances you let the other team live and Rosenborg almost secured their place in the last 5 minutes too. That said the best team obviously progressed and although I reckon Rosenborg is a good team I believe FC København has never been better.

PS Grønkjær on his best form makes some of our current 'wingers' looks like Championship-players.

The first half was absolutly horrific to watch, and old man Eggen got that line up wrong. Shame Annan was suspended or else this would have been a completley different game.

I think the teams are pretty even tbh, both very good at home. If only the scoreline had been 3-0 from the game at Lerkendal you would have been out by now.

FCK will probably do well at home and struggle away in the group stages, and will probably finish 3rd. On the day though, you lot were better and congrats KHL you deserved it after that performance.

Good luck!

Cheers mate.

You guys has already reached the Champions League groupstage around 12 times by now if I'm not mistaken so it's only fair it was FCKs turn this time around.. 😀

For what it's worth I reckon both teams has a lot to offer in Europe.

Now I'm keeping my fingers firmly crossed that Brøndby will follow up on their 2-0 win at Sporting tonight. Would be a massive scalp.
