Midweek CL Games

Football pundit Micky Quinn claims he’s heard that #LFC will bid for Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk in January

I'd love for this to be true

How old is he? Anything under 30 and we'll be paying a shitload. Unless his contract is running down. And even then we'll get turned over

Is this thread to comment on football tonight?

Hopefully City will get a shoeing, but I have a feeling they might win, and Pep can go back to the luxurious cock-sucking he has had from the media so far.

Hope I'm wrong.

Sterling should've had a pen but instead received a yellow, not long afterwards 1-0 to Barca.

So far, so good.

Indeed. Although without wishing to sound greedy, I'd quite like another thrashing please.

And obviously some injuries and red cards. Maybe even a Pep meltdown?

If City lose here they could really struggle to get out of the group.
They might need to beat Gladbach away which won't be easy.

Still, I suppose it's nice to see plucky little City bloody the noses of the Mighty Barcelona, thanks to their £55m signing

Looking desperately for silver linings though, at least both sides are having a workout, so perhaps that will effect their weekend games.

Hopefully none of their other brave little soldiers, in one of the most expensively assembled and highly paid squads in football history, decides to step up

City play Boro at home. I think they'll smash them regardless of tonights game, sadly

Both fair points, but European midweek games have definitely effected the following league games so far this season, so a tiring match with a tight scoreline has at least a chance of that happening again.

Stones desperatly tries to assist Suarez.

De Bruyne is insanely good.
Looks like the kid in Malcolm in the Middle though.

Boro have some decent players. Gaston Ramirez has looked pretty good the last couple of weeks.
