This is on the Offal, but thought it might be worth posting here too:
Liverpool goalkeeper Brad Jones is urging anyone heading to the Mathew Street Festival tomorrow to drop in at the Town Hall between 11am and 2pm to find out about joining the bone marrow register.
Brad's son Luca was recently diagnosed with leukaemia and urgently needs a lifesaving bone marrow transplant.
Anyone aged between 18 and 40 can join the Anthony Nolan register. Joining is easy - you just give a small saliva sample. If you are a match for a patient like Luca you could save someone's life.
