Membership ticket sales 2014/15 (2nd half of the season)

It's a joke the system, my car insurance comes out today, as a result I can't afford to buy anything this month, how fucking brilliant that the sale for tickets for the rest of the season falls this month. I'll never understand selling tickets for the entire season over two three day periods, it's a dreadful system.

For us, but not for the club. They have all games for next year sold out by November. They are laughing.

@ILD is going to be my official pimp from now on. 😉

You can be ushered into my inner sanctum Paul. 😉

It's still tricky though. The turnaround to collect and return cards can be complicated. The person I borrow from is from Wexford. Luckily for me someone I work with is from Wexford so they usually collect the cards for me. I then need to get them to Dublin (Waterford, wherever) to give to the person who is borrowing them from me. Panic usually sets in now. I need to stress the importance that the cards are returned safely back to me so I can then return them to where I got them. There needs to be a lot of trust involved. I would only borrow cards for someone I knew I could trust. Imagine telling someone you lost their card? The person needing it for the next game would be screwed. You can't get duplicates at the ticket office unless you were the actual cardholder so the actual cardholder would have to wait til the club sent him out a new card (£15 per card).

It's stressful being the middle man but it's nice to help people get to a game. Usually people are grateful and I wouldn't put in the effort for someone I knew is only taking me for granted. I don't think people realized the work the likes of Sunny and Mark Mc used to do / still do in getting tickets for people.

Hopefully I reach the holy grail of 14 credits on my card within the next few seasons but I won't hold my breath.

No doubt, I guess whilst games are selling out, why would they change? It feels so great being shat on as a fan.

Im surprised so many people want to go, we are fucking rubbish

Not everyone takes going to Anfield for granted.
Some people actually get a thrill from going believe it or not 😳

I am not sure if I would be prepared to go to all that trouble but fair dues to does who do.
I do wonder though if a lot of people buying tickets through membership sales are actually touts, even part time small, scale ones.

Aidan helps out. He meets the Dublin people for me as he's living up there.

Yep, you would see touts now with a load of membership cards outside Anfield. Membership is £24 for the season. They would make that back on day one of the season.

Basle tickets were on sale this morning.

@Mystic, @the count, did ye pick up tickets?

I can try move them on for ye if ye wanted to record the game on your card yet can't make it? This game has a big Olympiacos feel to it if we beat Ludo away. I'm going to have to leave it off I think. I'm over for the Arsenal game and have loads on in and around the game.

Oh for fucks sake, completely miss this.

I hear ya. You have a very valuable card though with Ludo and Madrid on it. The next time we are in the CL you will have priority on the back of these credits. Perhaps someone on here fancies the Basle game if you can't make it but it's hard to turn down that credit on your card.

Indeed, I really want to get the third game on the card to make sure, I can't afford to go though, pay day is only a couple of days away too, bloody typical.

Fuck it, I've bought it, I'll probably flog it on, I'll decide over the next few days though, is interest pretty high for this game?

I got two tickets. I don't think I will be able to make it but not one hundred percent sure yet. Dave, you and Aidan have first dibs if you want.

Thanks Paul. I cant see me making it with work and €€€€€ constraints but keep me posted.

Apologies if this has already been asked but does anyone know when the paper tickets are sent out? I've got the Stoke game this weekend but still no sign of a ticket!

Cheers mate...no it was the members sale. I've got a few between now and the end of the season but this is the first one so still not entirely sure how (if) it works!

Update ; Some received their paper tickets of the 17th.

What is the lead address used? Did you use your own log in details? I'd say ring the club and check if they were sent. You can always ask them to cancel them and get duplicates at the ticket office.

Wait, ignore that. Just saw your reply. There is no paper tickets for the members sale. Your cards have been activated and you swipe them on the way in. Your seat details should have been emailed to you.

Log into you account and go to purchase history and you will see the games activated on your card.

Great, thanks mate.
