There are some mitigating factors here:
We have to the point to Rodgers had Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez to select from, and was part of the process in the poor spending following the Suarez sale which has impacted Klopp performance. The one advantage Klopp gave us last year was increased experience in getting to cup finals and therefore restore some prestige at the club whilst compromising premier league performance. However he failed to win either final and has completely disregarded domestic cup competitions this year. So any brownie points he gets from that amounts to fuck all now.
I've little doubt the forum will skew details to point to how things are significantly better under Klopp, but this is a results business and they're looking pretty clear from from that. It's early days, of course, but we need Klopp to be doing a better job if we're to compete in an intensely competitive league.
We're conceding more goals under Klopp then Brendan Rodgers. A man who thought defending was an inconvenience to his coaching. That's worrying.
