Can people stop with this shite. Youre like United fans who keep believing Ronaldo is about to sign from Madrid. Suarez is gone, hes on bigger wages at a more successful club surrounded by much better players. There is no chance of him coming back here for at least a few years til he starts to decline.

He was incredible - arguably the best Liverpool talent of all time. But his talent on the pitch isn't what made him great - it's his will to win. That isn't a given with many athletes - and when it burns like it does with Suarez you get a player who's teammates follow him, and also unfortunately, you get the side chomps effects.
Suarez said that he would be happy to join us and Rodgers confirmed it. Rodgers should know because he still talks to Suarez very often. Ronaldo don't care at all about United. He only care about his mega big ego.
Suarez is the type of player that want a challenge. If he don't get it at Barcelona after winning everything you can win then he will leave them IMO. Wages won't stop a move. We paid him £250k a week and would probably pay that again.

If he wanted a challenge he wouldn't have joined Barcelona in the first place, and stayed at Liverpool. But he didn't, because he said this:

Now, I do appreciate to an extent your wacky, loopy, in fact totally mental attempts to look into the mind and psyche of a player you don't know and have never met, but suggesting he might leave Barcelona because it is no longer a challenge is gigantically barking mad, even by your cyclopean standards

To be fair there were loads on here wanting him gone and calling him a racist bitey wanker, but it was a bit unfair on him having to play for us with the level we were/are at, he deserved much better, and I'd rather he was at Barca than one of the other scumbag teams.

Really? I always assumed that 99% of Liverpool fans were desperate for him to stay, and the other 1% were made up of people trying to desperately justify his inevitable departure, mad people and a tiny proportion of pious, sanctimonious wankers.
That kind of split of opinion, despite Suarez's controversial behaviour, is a good marker of his talent I think. Owen, McManaman and Mascherano weren't remembered as fondly in the aftermath of their leaving for example, despite being much better behaved.
I guess Suarez is just a classic loveable rogue - 90% talent, 10% dickhead. Seems he's been better behaved in Spain though.

His day to day demeanor with us was fine. I don't think he was ever sent off for us. He just had a habit of going nuclear in high pressurized situations. Evra incident, World Cup handball, World Cup bite, Ivanovic bite.
Getting a bit old for it now though. Crossing the Red Sea took a lot out of him.
Incidentally he did have a bike. In our Bible it says somewhere that the roar of Moses' Triumph was heard all over Israel.
That's the behaviour I was alluding to. He was at it in Holland before he came to the Premier League too, but that part of his personality seems to have settled down since moving to Spain.
If he is over those problems then that can only be a good thing, he was at risk of having a bit of the "what ifs" attached to him post-career if he'd have carried it on ("Imagine how many he'd have scored without a ten game ban that season" etc.)
