What's going to happen next ? Are we going to buy him or he returns to Madrid ?

He's proven to be a valuable squaddie and if he leaves, our squad will be thinner than before. Not to mention, short of decent quality.

check all computer games that were released before last year and his stats are crazy... i think we started to see him recapture a tiny bit of that form. hopefully his wife isnt a xenophobic tit like that of our other Argie.

you were wrong he made the right decision to sign for us as he was not getting playing time with atletico coach not impressed with him.

Gerrard probably does enjoy playing with Maxi though. Maxi is intelligent on the ball and shows great movement. He also has an efficient one touch passing ability.

Despite the headline, Gerrard's praise for Lucas is pretty low-key there. He really raved about Maxi in a way I've only seen him do (in recent seasons) about Torres, Carra and Reina.

Although you'll now probably dig up some long-lost interview with Stevie claiming Pennant/Zenden/Voronin/Diao are among the best players in the world...
