Maureen sacked

That article is a load of bollocks. Mourinho now suddenly a slightly lower-tier manager? Real would have him back. Ditto Inter. More United fans want Mourinho than LVG. 80% of Chelsea fans wanted him to stay.

And fuck Guardiola. He picks clubs more carefully than Mourinho is accused of doing. Leaves Barcelona and joins Bayern. The richest and best-supported club in Germany. He's done nothing there that any decent manager couldn't replicate, and the one thing he was supposed to do, win the European Cup, he got fucking battered by Real and then Barcelona.

And where's he going next? Man City, the club with the richest owners in the world, where even Manuel Pellegrini can win a title.

Fuck him

Yea but I enjoyed the thought of people discussing Jose Mourinho as a dinosaur.

I am so upset he has left. This whole saga was so interesting, after the Liverpool result it is the Chelsea one you turn to next just to make you feel better or to make your day better (if LFC won). Now there is a risk they may improve - but then again there is a chance that those players are so fucked up in their heads that maybe it will be too much for them to actually win. Remember - losing can become a habit just as much as winning - of course most of you know that.

Did you see Jim White the other morning? I was truly gobsmacked. He mentioned the Spanish Inquisition, and then he said, and I kid you not, 'The Spanish Inquistion was something the Romans used to do to their enemies!' He really said that!!

He knowz all the historyz

Well, yer man that Russell Crowe played in Gladiator, was a Spaniard. So, there must be some truth in what he said.

It's your right to dislike Guardiola, but it's hard to argue with the fact that football has generally evolved into Guardiola's direction rather than Mourinho's in the last 10 years. And among the top managers, Mourinho is almost alone in playing primarily counter-attacking football; everybody else is trying to win the possession game like Guardiola.

Can it be argued that Guardiola's football is better because it just so happens to work because of the lack of world class defenders in world football ?

The Barca team still played this passing game before Messi as did most Spanish teams, but the Italians and other teams had strong defences to hold on. Also I don't think from what I saw of Athletico Madrid when they won the title - that their football was of Guardiola's kind - and was more Jose/Rafa style in terms of organisation and tight defence. Despite Jose's antics - I strongly disagree with that article as I believe there is a place for him in this period of football - fucks sake he only just won the English PL last season - so the article is bollox for the most part. Agree on the idea that the players of today want a more cuddly friendly coach than the regimental types of the past modelled on Fabio Capello.

Mourinho's arc is like a really boss dirty gary. Fucking mental when it's coming up, awesome while it's peaking, but soon you're coming down like fuck and everyone is in tears and looking for knives.
Maybe I should be happy I have no idea what a dirty gary is. I suspect its not about slipping a length into Mr Neville's poo hole, but I may be wrong

Emanelo is quoted as saying there was a 'palpable discord' between the squad and Mourinho.

Apparently the last attempt to improve the atmosphere occurred on Wednesday, when, with the aim of reassuring the young players they'd still be given a chance, the kids were invited to train with the first team squad. That ended in a near riot after Fabregas smashed into one of the youth players, who got up and attempted to hit Fabregas in the face, then his mates piled in, and the first teamers followed. Mourinho just went off and got a haircut.

In fairness haircuts are reduced to £10 on Wednesdays.

Getting sacked straight after the staff Christmas lunch. It's the ultimate Secret Santa.

'...And there's yours, Jose'.

*opens package*

'Oh. P-4-5. Is that voucher for cologne?'

Happy that he got sacked but not happy because the players will now suddenly start to perform. Strike over.

The same thing will happen at Real Madrid after they sack Rafa. Player power.
