Rumours linking us with a swoop for this Croatian lad. 19 years old, 8 starts, 17 sub appearances in the Serie A for Inter this season. Contracted to Inter until 2017.

Not sure Inter will want to do business again, given we robbed them blind for Coutinho. 😀



Anyway, regardless of the quality of the rumour, enjoy the clip. Dribbling, passing and ability in tight spaces reminds me of our last Inter import though this chap seems also pretty capable of going box-to-box.

I'd rather youth players be like that.
I'd rather have extraordinarily skillful, athletic players that can be later coached for mature play than those that grow up looking more mature than other teenagers but being able to do fuck all at senior level.
Can you imagine how Suarez might have been like as a teen? Bet you he was greedy and made the wrong decisions.

There are exceptions to the rule like Xabi and most likely a lot of the Barca players, but I'd take a young player like him any day over the mildly skilled and mildly athletic but very mature youngsters.

Yup - I want him ... but he's good enough that those two clubs will be sniffing aroudn him if available.

However,these 18-22 year old players - who are looking for a club on the up, who are developing youngsters with a great man manager, should look at us ... Just like Studge and Coutinho ...
