I think Klopp's subs actually hurt us today. We were really controlling the middle with Coutinho/Teix ... He should have bought on studge/origi for benteke/ibe (to ensure the same formation was kept).

Agreed, well, i'd add that it's not the formation that's the problem, it's the fact that Ibe is playing the tip of the diamond, he's the wrong player for that, Teixeira would have been much better there.
 
West Ham must have some strategy that involves taking an age to start the game again every time one of their players falls down. It was the same in the league game. Their matches must last on average about 110 minutes.

We've played pretty well, although yet again the old Rodgers' era faffing about in the middle of defence is exasperating.

We need to play it wide rather than try to slip something through the middle all the time.

Couts just coming back and tex looked tired I thought. Agreed ibe should have gone off
 
Also, the decision to take off both Tex AND Coutinho was perplexing to say the least. We completely lost it in midfield after that. Stewart and co had no outlet infront of them and there just became this huge gap between defense and attack.
