Hendo is the nearest thing we have to a creative midfielder. Can had a good game today but he can't fill that gap.

I'm usually a big critic of Can but there's no way Henderson made those runs Can did today, runs which relieved pressure created opportunity and the penalty. I thought he had a tremendous game and second only to Wijnaldum in the MoM stakes.
It's Aguero not some Sunderland reserve striker. Klavan was tracking him but if you watch when Aguero goes Klavan has literally no chance to stay with him. Very harsh to blame him for that.

Can had his best game in a long long time. He was excellent.
He knew where ageuro was and didn't track properly.
Is he supposed to run BEFORE Aguero then ? Because Aguero is small, powerful and built for a fast start - which is what he got, the extra yard he needed. Even if there was a starter's gun Klavan couldn't keep up with him over 5m, however when waiting for Aguero to react first ? Not a chance.
Err it's cut back ? If he'd gone first and left Aguero - who then receives the cut-back, you lot would all be moaning about 'why did he leave Aguero'.

It's the generation of fans who just sit in an armchair and get befuddled when a player actually doesn't time something perfectly at high speed. I despair. Have they ever ventured outside into that weird place called 'not the bedroom' and actually played a game of football themselves? On a pitch. When they're awake? Thought not.
Almost to a fault. Had he been feeling less up for it he might have made more of Toure's appalling challenge on him in the first half, which might have got Toure a fully deserved red card (though Oliver was p!$$-weak today, so there's no guarantee of that).
