Will he believe again?

He's always been one of the few Utd players to give us the credit we deserve over the years and a player I've always found hard to dislike.

Yesterday he was amazing. For a player of his age he played like one 10 years younger.

Trickery, dribbling, pass selection, crossing, deadballs, everything.

His pass for Owen's winner capped off a total master class of three assists and two efforts which forced smart saves from Given.

I thought this season we would see him in decline but if anything he's getting better.

He's been kept fit by Fergie.. He plays minimal games and still tends to have a great deal of impact when he does get opportunities..

In his earlier days he missed the majority of Wales international games due to 'injury' only to play for UTD a few days later.. Fergie has always been pretty protective over Giggs.

He had a good game, but Micah Richards being a truly woeful defender that he is, helped his cause..

SHIT......sorry *regains concentration* Ryan Giggs is a Cunt... 😱 😱

i met him a few times in my youth in the clubs in manchester, he was actually really grounded and dare i say likable. don't think he's management material as he is by nature a very shy person.

now to make you feel better me and a friend were dancing away singing liverpool songs when we won them trophies under houllier in a friends club in manchester. the scum fans weren't keen and when a group of their players arrived with their entourage we were singled out to meet veron. my mate shifty went away, came back and was really friendly with veron shaking his hand etc.

once the entourage had left us i turned to shifty and asked him about his behaviour. he replies ' i went and pissed all over my hand and thought i'd share'.

Giggs is the only Manc in recent memory I've had any time for. He's a true gent and has always been fairly courteous towards Liverpool.

I've posted this before, but years ago they used to do a 'view from the opposition' article in the programs that you could by in the newsagents. There was an article with Giggs the season following our cup treble, and he was asked if he thought we were lucky with the way we won the cups. He went on to say that you make your own luck and he really admired the way we fought to win, proceeding to say we had a great manager in Houllier and he thought he was a really good guy, etc and how well he thought of us as a club re our history.

Fair play.

let me re-phrase my original statement - i actually do like Giggs but i loathe to see these threads on the forum ...

He's got my respect as a top player and professional, but that's pretty much where it ends.

I think in the same interview the interviewer tried to belittle the treble by saying it was a treble of lesser cup (compared to the treble manu won) but giggs was having none of it.

I don't get this We shouldn't be discussing Man U on here stance. It's a Football Forum, not a Liverpool FC Forum and it would be very dull and childish if that was all we did talk about. I've got a lot of time for Giggs. He's always shown our club respect and he's one of the best players to have ever graced the Premiership.

Giggs Cantona and Keane the three main reasons that United are in the position over us that they are......twats, but great players. If we could have had just one of those three things might have been very different.
Giggs just shows the importance of a footballing brain

regards

The comments about him looking after himself and leading a healthy lifestyle are no doubt right, but he still looks about twenty years older than he is!

is right.

He used to have a custom-made toilet seat with live fish swimming inside it. (Whoa, Glen Johnson, whoa boy!)

The ability to see and make that pass at that stage of the game is demonstration of his class as a footballer. I think he would be in anybodys world XI from the past decade.

Seems to be a good guy to me. Just a shame he plays for those twats.
