Comments (1) Add to My Stories Juventus are preparing a summer bid for Javier Mascherano, who joined Barcelona from Liverpool last year in a £17 million deal.
The Argentina midfielder has failed to claim a first-team place at the Nou Camp, appearing mainly as a substitute or to fill in for injured players.
On the move again? Mascherano (left) in action for Barcelona against Atletic Bilbao last month
The form of holding midfielder Sergio Busquets, who helped Spain win the 2010 World Cup, has restricted Mascherano’s progress with the Spanish champions.
Juventus are looking for a replacement for Mohamed Sissoko, who joined the Turin-based club from Liverpool three years ago.
The Mali international is set to join Real Madrid at the end of the season and Juventus see Argentina captain Mascherano as an ideal replacement.

Momo to Real Madrid?

You ever get the feeling with a tiny bit more effort in Chemistry you could have cured cancer and terraformed Mars?

Juve reported a loss of 30 mill £ in the first 6 months of the season.

I highely doubt they will be buying loads of expencive players before next season, if not the Agnelli family will open its wallet.

If Momo goes to Real I will raise a glass to him.

Then throw it 30ft in the air, straight up.

ha ha ha

But wait, it's Mascheranos dream move. And to a Spanish speaking country to make his wife all nice and cozy. He'll never move. Surely.

If he comes back I will choose to believe his version of events about how Roy and the old board done him over. All will be forgiven

Masher would improve us a lot, but I'd prefer we look to find a new defensive midfielder instead of one who fucked us off as soon as the going got tough.

He refused to play for Liverpool Football club. Therefore he can can go fuck himself, frankly.

Exactly. He can go and rot.

According to Roy he did. Mash himself has said how upset he is about what Roy led the fans to think of him.

Like I say, I'm happy to play this story either way, he comes back I believe the poor Javier mean Roy version, he doesn't come back; I'm happy to carry on hating him.

Mascherano is not wanted or needed at Liverpool. Burnt bridges and all that. Fuck him!

How ironic it would be if Momo goes and succeeds where Mascherano couldn't? That would be the ultimate insult!

We could really do with Masher all the same. He really let us down with his behaviour, but he never let us down on the pitch.

He's exactly what we need right now. If you could fashion a midfielder to strengthen our team and license SG and Ming to get forward, he would be very Masher-like.

There's nothing ironic about Momo going to Real when Masher is at Barca.

The Barca team will be laughing like that pic where the Spain squad are listening to Xabi say, "And they replaced me with Lucas".

Please put 20p in the 'He's better than Lucas' box

I actually like Lucas, but I'd stick all my shrapnel in that box.
